Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster

Currently reading: Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster, by Peter Brimelow (Author) "Dante, the great poet of medieval Italy, would have been delighted by the Immigration and Naturalization Service's waiting rooms..." (more)
This is my second reading of this great book, since 1996. This Peter Brimelow should be a profit!
I totally agree with his conclusions that that United States is being engulfed by the greatest wave of immigration it has ever faced. The latest immigrants are different from those who came before. These newcomers are less educated, less skilled, more prone to trouble with the law (25% of the U.S. Prisons population is illegal immigrants), and are less likely to become Americans in name or spirit.
Brimelow believes that we cannot continue to admit millions of legal and illegal immigrants if we wish to maintain our standard of living and our national identity. Unless we restore immigration to its more traditional role, he says, the United States risks being turned into an alien nation.
We can thank Ted (hick-up) Kennedy for this. For in 1965, he promoted a bill that started the flood if immigration and which has led to our immigration problems of today, primarily from third-world nations. Now this clown wants to do it again!!I strongly suggest that is book be read by all who care about this political issue.
